I had a great time at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the facilities were excellent. The Aqua Park was amazing, and the fact that it was free made it even more enjoyable. The hotel was very clean, and the breakfast had a lot of options. the experience was very positive.

We liked everything...the room large and clean, the staff, the food and beverages, they had both nonalcoholic/alcoholic drinks local and imported ones, the animation team was great.

Extreme noise until early morning 4-5am by people allowed to dring outside of the lobby, below ouroom. We were told all rooms are noisy. Food in the restourant blant, our kids got sick as many other kids, might be related to the food. Room was not cleaned one of the days. Two double beds were actually one single and one double. The extra bed was a foldable armchair, not comfortable.

The location was great, not too far from the beach and close to the town center. The room was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view from the balcony. The new year's eve gala dinner was fantastic, with plenty of delicious food and a fun atmosphere. We enjoyed the free access to the gym and the spa facilities, which was a nice added bonus.

The experience was marred by a few negatives. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, resulting in long wait times for basic services.

We enjoyed the romantic escape getaway and the beautiful scenery surrounding the hotel was perfect for our pictures. The food was tasty and the waiters were friendly. The best aspect was the onsite spa that offered relaxing massages and treatments.

The hotel did not offer adequate air conditioning in our room and it was uncomfortably hot at night. The bathroom was small and outdated, with a weak shower.

In general Albena is a nice resort that is not over constructed, has a lot of green and gardens, and is a family with kids resort.

Have been several summers there – no improvement, the rooms 2 adults +1 child is not more 4*4 meters – which is small. The wardrobe is small, there is no refrigerator.The ultra all inclusive has downgraded – before there was proper scotch whiskey – now only some local ones. The pool snack was opening earlier (in 2008 and 2009) now it is after 11. The swimming pool is small for the capacity of the hotel - has no order – people get up as early as possible – put there towels and show several hours later – thus the chairs are “occupied” but in fact nobody is sitting on them and you wait hopelessly somewhere a chair to be made vacant.

It is located into a quiet surrounding, reservation went smooth, hotel employees were friendly, room was fair, food was good and varied. Besides, children have a place to play, sing and dance, and the program was interesting.

The towels were only changed once in 8 days, and oddly this happened at the very beginning of our holiday. Bedclothes was changed once, but the blanket was smelly, so I went off to complain. The manager didn't even apologize, just sent the maid with a new clean set of sheets. Parking is very small, so when you find a place, you better stick to it and not move your car, or you will have no place to park.

The surrounding greenery of the hotel is beautiful, making it a lovely place to take a relaxing walk or sit and enjoy the view. The food is varied and delicious, with something for everyone's taste. The spacious, clean rooms are equipped with comfortable beds and a balcony where you can enjoy the fresh air and wonderful scenery.

The beverages could be improved and offered in higher quality.
